Hi — I'm [Your Name], a chemist based in [City]. I've spent [X] years in [formulation / analytical / QC] work, which mostly means [X] years of comparing what a label claims against what an assay actually returns.
This site started as a long, irritated message in a family group chat. Someone had stopped a prescription early because a video told them antibiotics "damage your immune system". Someone else was refusing a generic because it was "the cheap version". Neither belief was stupid. Both were downstream of an explanation nobody had ever bothered to give them properly.
How this site is built
Two threads, running in parallel. Myth busting works backwards from a claim to its source. Advancements works forwards from the literature to what is genuinely arriving in clinics — with the development stage stated, because most "breakthrough" coverage omits the fact that the result is in twelve mice.
How I make money — plainly
Some product links on this site are affiliate links, meaning I earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. That is currently the only revenue this site produces. No company has paid for an article, a verdict, or a mention, and most fact-checks contain no affiliate link at all.
